What is a Professional Organizer?

Professional Organizers in Canada defines a Professional Organizer as:

"Someone who provides information, products and assistance to help individuals and businesses achieve their specific organizing needs.

Who can hire a Professional Organizer?

What are your qualifications?

I have been an educator for 13 years, with a Bachelor of Arts and a  Bachelor of Education degree.  Plus, I have taken the required courses and wrote and passed the POC exam to become a Trained Professional Organizer.  I am also a member of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC).

Some of the courses I have taken are:

  • Working with the Chronically Disorganized

  • Working with Seniors

  • Working with Children

  • Room by Room Organization

What is a consultation?

A consultation is our first meeting, face to face or by phone or on Zoom, to talk about what you would like assistance with.  At this time, we get to know each other, share ideas, and make a plan to achieve your organizing goals.  The consultation lasts between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the project.  
Consultations are always FREE!

Are you insured?

Yes, I am an insured Professional Organizer.

Are your services confidential?

Yes!  I will never share information about a client or share photos on social media without your consent.  Our work together is confidential and I respect your privacy.

What do you organize?

I have a lot of experience organizing a variety of things, from garages to school work, files to crafts - if it is something that is not in order, I can problem solve with you to sort it out.  For more detailed examples of what I organize click on 'Services ' at the top of the Home Page.

What are your fees?

At Ten Four Organizing I give my clients the valuable guidance and support they need at exceptional rates.  There are a variety of options available to you to fit your budget.  For more details click on 'Services' at the top of the Home Page.  Plus, consultations are always FREE.

What are some approximate timelines and cost for an organizing project I have in mind?

Every person's space and expectations of an organizing project are different, so for the best idea of timelines and cost, it is best to request a FREE consult, where we can talk about your goals and budget. Then I will be able to customize a plan just for you.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is by Electric Money Transfer to tenfourorganizing@outlook.com.  Payment is required prior to each session.

What are your hours?
